Seville Game of Thrones Tour — Walk Dorne's Water Gardens at the Real Alcázar

Yes. HBO filmed the Dorne storyline inside Seville's Real Alcázar during Seasons 5 and 6, and used the Roman amphitheatre at Itálica (9 km north of the city) as the Dragonpit in Seasons 7 and 8. A short drive away, Almodóvar del Río Castle played Highgarden and Seville's Casa de Pilatos provided additional Dorne exteriors.

The Dorne palace sequences — Prince Doran Martell's audience chamber, the Water Gardens where Ellaria Sand and the Sand Snakes appear, and Jaime Lannister's arrival — were all shot inside the Real Alcázar. Seasons 7 and 8 then used Itálica's 25,000-seat Roman amphitheatre for the Dragonpit summit scenes. The Alcázar appears from Season 5 episode 'The Wars to Come' through Season 6, covering most Dorne scenes. The Dragonpit at Itálica shows up in the Season 7 finale 'The Dragon and the Wolf' and the Season 8 premiere. Casa de Pilatos and Almodóvar Castle appear in several Season 6 and 7 episodes set in Dorne and the Reach.

Dorne is fictional — it's the southernmost kingdom of Westeros in George R.R. Martin's novels. For HBO's adaptation, the Dorne palace and Water Gardens were filmed at the Real Alcázar of Seville, a UNESCO World Heritage Mudéjar palace in southern Spain. HBO filmed Dorne primarily at the Real Alcázar of Seville: the Patio de las Doncellas doubled as palace interiors, and the Jardines del Alcázar became the Water Gardens of Sunspear. Casa de Pilatos supplied extra courtyard exteriors, and a few establishing shots were captured around the Alcázar's Mudéjar façade facing Plaza del Triunfo. The key Alcázar scenes include Jaime Lannister and Bronn's mission to rescue Myrcella, Ellaria Sand's confrontation with Prince Doran, and the Water Gardens sequence where Doran sits beside the pools. Cinematographers used the Patio de las Doncellas arches, the Salón de Embajadores throne hall, and the sunken pools of the lower gardens.
